These terms cover apexgeorgia.org and the account, registration, and document tools on it. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site. Apex Georgia is a volunteer-run rider community; the people running the site are riders too.
Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why. The waivers you sign for an event are separate agreements. If a waiver and these terms ever say different things about an event, the waiver controls.
Accounts
- One account per person, and it has to be yours. Use your real name and accurate details, and keep them current. The roster, tech sheet, and emergency contact all come from your profile.
- You must be 18 or older to hold an account on your own. A rider under 18 may take part only with a parent or legal guardian who signs the waiver with them.
- Keep your password and sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used to harm other members, or is used to sign a document falsely. You can delete your own account at any time from the account page.
Track day registration
- Pre-registering on this site holds your place in line for a day. It is not a guarantee of a spot. The organizers confirm the final roster, which also includes coaches and crew who do not register here.
- Payment, refunds, and cancellations are handled by the organizers, not through this site. Ask in the Discord before you register if you have a question about cost.
- Riding is subject to the track's rules, our schedule and arrival sheets, tech inspection, and the run group you are assigned. The organizers can refuse or remove any rider for safety, a bike that fails tech, or conduct, without refund from the site.
- If your plans change, cancel from the registration page so someone else can take the spot.
Documents and e-signatures
- You agree to sign waivers and other documents electronically on this site. An electronic signature you make here has the same effect as a signature in ink, under the federal E-SIGN Act and the Georgia Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.
- Sign only as yourself, with your own name and your own drawn signature. The only exceptions are a parent or legal guardian signing for their own child under 18, and a rider countersigning a passenger's waiver, each in the place the document provides for it. Signing for anyone else is prohibited and may be a crime.
- We keep a complete copy of every signed document, with the date, your IP address, and your browser, so that it can be verified later. You can view and print your copies at any time from the documents page, and you can ask us for a paper version.
- When a document's wording changes you will be asked to sign the new version before riding.
- You can withdraw your consent to sign electronically by telling us in writing, in which case we will arrange paper documents at the event. Signatures already made stay valid.
Riding
Motorcycling, on the street and on the track, is dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Everything on this site is shared by riders for riders and is not professional instruction or safety advice. You are responsible for your own riding, your gear, and the condition of your bike. The risks you accept when you ride with us are set out in the waiver you sign for each event.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Try to get into accounts, pages, or data that are not yours, or probe or disrupt the site.
- Collect or copy other members' names or details from the members pages, or share members-only information outside the community.
- Pretend to be another person or an organizer.
- Upload anything harmful, or use the site to send unwanted messages to members.
- Use automated tools to scrape the site beyond what robots.txt allows.
Content
The Apex Georgia name, logo, photos, and the writing on this site belong to Apex Georgia or to the riders who contributed them. You may share links to the site freely and use its content for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please do not use the logo or photos to suggest a connection with Apex Georgia that does not exist.
The site links to Discord, Instagram, Facebook, Google, Apple, and track venues. Each has its own terms and we are not responsible for them.
Disclaimers and limits
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep event details accurate, but dates, venues, prices, and schedules change, and the Discord is the place to confirm them. We do not promise the site will always be available or free of errors.
To the fullest extent Georgia law allows, Apex Georgia and the volunteers who run it are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits anything that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here changes what you and we agreed in a signed waiver.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, and any dispute about them will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Georgia. We may update these terms; the current version is always at this address with its date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
